  • Blood Donation by parents

    At the initiative of P T A, we have formed a Lisieux Blood Donors Forum. For this purpose we have enlisted the names and Blood groups of the willing parents. Any patient contacting at school will be helped by donating blood from the part of parents.
  • Air conditioner for Taluk Hospital Operation Theatre.

    An Air conditioner costing Rs. 50000 has been donated to Vaikom Govt. Hospital to be installed in the Operation Theatre. This amount has been donated by the parents of K G Section.
  • Save A Family Plan (SAFP)

    Two poor families have been adopted from other states of India and these families are given Rs. 800/- per month for an year through Save A Family Plan, India.
  • Organ Donation

    In connection with the Pearl Jubilee celebrations of the school in 2012, an organ donation programme has been launched in collaboration with All India Kidney Foundation. Its chairman is Fr. Davis Chiramel.
  • Lisieux Annadanam (food) distribution project

    Many students bring additional lunch packets to be given to inmates of Govt. Ayurveda Hospital and Old Age Home, Vallakom in collaboration with Janamythri Police, Vaikom. This initiative has been selected for ‘Jana Maithri Manava Seva Puraskar’ and has been going on for the last three years.
  • Save A Friend Programme (SAFP)

    All the students contribute a minimum of Rs.2/- on every Monday. This is the basic fund for the programme. Inspired by this programme, some students contribute the amount they set apart for birthday celebrations. With the amount collected by the students, 12 students, one from each class, from Std I - Std XII, selected on the basis of norms - Financially weak, parents lost, good in studies and character - are given free education for one year.

Welcome to Lisieux School

Lisieux English School, a little lamp lighted 30 years back has become a light house to the emerging generations around Vaikom. It has become a centre of excellence and a bench mark for quality education. It is situated on the banks of the picturesque Vembanad Lake. Lisieux School was founded by Rev. Fr. Joseph Pallippadan in 1982 and is dedicated to St. Little Theresa. It is owned and managed by the parishners of Little Flower Church, Nadel, Vaikom and is under the patronage and guidance of Major Arch Bishop Cardinal George Alencherry (Archdiocese of Ernakulam - Angamaly)

The School had a very small beginning in 1982. It started with 16 students and a teacher who is still in the school, Mrs. Reethamma Jose. School started as a State Recognised English Medium School in 1997. CBSE Syllabus teaching was started in 2000 it has been upgraded to Senior Secondary Level.
